Recently had timing chain cassettes, water pump, and all gaskets (including the intake manifold, and head) replaced at 178,456 miles. Now that I have 180,541 on it it's time to review. Please note I did work (fuel injectors, fuel pressure sensor, Spark plugs, wires, Thermostat, air, and fuel filters) In addition, so my results are partly due to that. Sometimes when you have major work done you have to do other things. I would have done the timing chains but on this Ford, it requires the engine to be removed! (The chains are on front and back.) The folks did a bang-up job on an engine that had the intake manifold removed and valve covers off ( it's how I discovered the timing chain needed to be replaced). I asked that the water pump and head gaskets be done since it would cost a little more than parts. After 2000 miles I have had zero leaks or issues. The oil was changed and no antifreeze in it. The engine runs so much better after they cleaned it. There have been no reasons to take it back as proof of a well-done job. The engine is the 4L SOHC that ford did a great job on, so there was minimal wear and tear. Thanks for being on time and great to work with.
